Top 5 Reasons to Vote, #5

The number 5 top reason to vote: You’re sick and tired of the leadership in Washington D.C.

It’s time for a little change.  I don’t think it’s time for the type of change that Obama says he’s bringing, but it certainly is time for a change.  And the only way to do that is to vote.  Who needs a better reason?

George Carlin had a bit about voting.  In it, he said that he didn’t vote and that by not voting it gave him the right to complain about who the rest of us voted into office.  While it was a funny bit, he was wrong.  You have absolutely no right to complain about the people voted into office if you don’t vote.  The only thing you get to complain about is how stupid the people who voted are for voting them in.  But then, you also should have voted to override those stupid people.  That’s the beauty of our system, voting gives you the right to be heard and to make your thoughts heard.

You’ve got four days to make a decision on who will best lead our country, our state, and how you want the issues to be determined.  Make sure you make an informed decision.
