As If I Needed a Reason to Not Vote for Edwards
Unlike in 2004, John Edwards’ campaign is nearly non-existent. He gets none of the press and even has even less of an impact on the election. He actually had a bit of a chance in 2004 against Kerry, but against Clinton and Obama, he’s a mere afterthought. It’s pretty fair to say that he will most likely be giving a concession speech pretty early on in 2008.
Not that I needed a reason to not vote for him, but Tim Robbins announced his support of Edwards. I really, really like Tim as an actor. But that’s what he should continue to do. I could care less for his activist diatribe. I find him to be fanatacle in his pursuit of many of his ideals. Nearly none of which I agree with. And if a person who’s ideals I don’t agree with is supporting Edwards, that means his ideals are somewhat close to theirs. And I can’t vote for him.
Funny how that works though. His announcement of support is supposed to boost the campaign and it turned this voter completely against it.
