Obama, Osama. What’s the Diff
If you’re Mitt Romney, there isn’t a difference I guess.
Actually, just look at what Osam — Barack Obama — said just yesterday. Barack Obama, calling on radicals, jihadists of all different types, to come together in Iraq. That is the battlefield… It’s almost as if the Democratic contenders for president are living in fantasyland. Their idea for jihad is to retreat, and their idea for the economy is to also retreat. And in my view, both efforts are wrongheaded.
Of course, his spokesman was quick to claim that it was just a slip of the tongue. Or was it. I think he was using a “slip of the tongue” to play on the similarity of their names and trigger a subconscious tie between the two. If voters see Osama everytime they think about Obama, they aren’t going to vote for him. And let’s face it. I think that Obama would be a lot harder to beat than Hillary come November 2008.
